I’m Vicky Ashraf, a fully qualified and accredited Counsellor & Supervisor.
Over the past 10 years I have been in the most fortunate of positions that has allowed me to support people in creating more satisfying and fulfilling lives for themselves.
Each day, I am in awe of the people I work with, as I see their strength and determination move them forward to places they never thought possible.
My story – I had experienced low confidence and self esteem most of my life and everything both personally and professionally always seemed such a struggle.
Then, when my beautiful twin girls started to grow into toddlers, something shifted in me. I didn’t want to stay the way I was, I wanted be something different. I wanted to strive to be a mum they looked up to and one to be proud of. I wanted to be a good role model and show them what it was like to have a love for yourself and face the world full of belief and confidence. And this is when my journey of change began!
I undoubtedly know change is possible, because I have grown so much and now have a belief that I AM good enough. I know that I am my own unique self and that I no longer need to compare myself to anyone else. It’s been a real journey of challenges and obstacles, fun and excitement and all leading to me now living the enriching life I want. I have developed my confidence so much so, that I no longer recognise the person I was. I am happy, excited, energised and I still regularly challenge myself and actively seek out opportunities to keep me growing.
My own experiences, along with being a part of so many other people’s journey to greater confidence, is why I am so passionate about what I do.
Having been on this journey of counselling, I believe I have a deeper understanding of each process, from both personal and professional perspectives. I bring my real self to the sessions and have a positive and inspiring attitude with a confident, fun and enthusiastic approach. I have a good level of self-awareness and I am extremely passionate about helping people live authentically.
I have an incredible strong work ethic and I am very ambitious as I continue to develop myself in counselling arenas. Alongside being an accredited BACP counsellor and supervisor, I am also a fully qualified life coach and graduated from Europe’s largest life coach training school, The Coaching Academy..
